The front of this square pillow is a version of the 1782 "America triumphant and Britannia in distress." It has several symbolic figures within the artwork, such as Minerva as America holding an olive branch. 20" sq. Microfiber.
This satirical image appeared in an early American publication, Weatherwise’s Town & Country Almanac.  Not only does the designer celebrate the triumph of America, but more important he depicts the overtures of reconciliation and friendship tendered by the colonies to the defeated mother country.
