Join George Washington's battalion to defeat the redcoats! This fun Continental Soldier Youth T-Shirt looks like an 18th-century soldier's uniform, except it's much lighter and more breathable. The front features a graphic of a vest with silver buttons, a collar and two cross-body straps. The back shows a satchel and armament and Colonial Williamsburg logo.

Medium (size 36)
Large (size 38)

The colonies formed the Continental Army after the outbreak of the Revolutionary War. Its purpose was to defeat the Redcoats in battle and establish the thirteen colonies as an independent nation, free from the British King's rule. The Continental Army was the basis for what is now the United States Army, established in 1796.

Great T-SHIRT, but runs HUGE in Youth Sizing!

This shirt is made from 100% cotton with cute graphics which appear to have been well placed in order to avoid discomfort in the neck and shoulder areas. However a large label was then stamped on the back interior of the shirt's neckline which may irritate a child with sensitive skin? However, my main issue with this item is its sizing as these shirts are HUGE. Although the product description does state Size S - 34, M - 36, L - 38, & XL - 40, I mistakenly believed that it must be referring to 'Adult Sizing' and even called to confirm that 'Youth Sizing' was available before placing my order. The shirt arrived yesterday and it is HUGE with a 36" chest measurement whereas most manufactures of childrens' Tees allow 27"- 28" for Size Medium. Don't know if my G-Son will still be into the American Rev by the time he grows into this shirt... If not, I guess that I can always wear it!
