This decorative copper-plated kettle is an interpretation of copper fish kettles on display in the reconstructed kitchens of the Governor's Palace and Peyton Randolph house in Williamsburg, Virginia. Colonial Williamsburg operates an Historic Foodways program designed to share with the public how food was prepared and served in 18th-century America.
