There are many examples of copper used in the 1700s in homes, now on display in the Historic Area and in our museums. Copper fish kettles are on display in the reconstructed kitchens of the Governor's Palace and Peyton Randolph house in Williamsburg, Virginia. Colonial Williamsburg operates an Historic Foodways program designed to share with the public how food was prepared and served in 18th-century America.
Hand wash. Use mineral oil as needed. Do not soak under water for long periods of time.
