Eighteenth-century Williamsburg was the home of many ardent gardeners and plant collectors who often exchanged seeds with fellow enthusiasts in Great Britain.  Gardeners obtained their seeds from store merchants or from traveling seedsmen.  Today, the Colonial Williamsburg seed program continues the tradition by offering many of the varieties grown in the 18th century.

The Coriander-Cilantro Herbs Seeds will need full sun. Plant as soon as the danger of frost has passed in the spring and in mid to late summer for a fall crop.  Rows should be -12 in. apart. Germination 14-21+ - Maturity 75.

When seedlings are 2in. high, thin, leaving 5-7in. between plants. Harvest throughout the season by cutting leaves off the plants, aggressively. Cilantro bolts quickly in the heat and becomes bitter.
