Delft Garden Dessert Plate
A classic blue-and-white design influenced by 18th-century delft pottery in the Williamsburg collections which makes this Delft Garden dessert plate a timeless addition to the table. 7 1/2" dia. Porcelain.
During the eighteenth century, delft pottery served, in part, as a less expensive imitation of Chinese porcelain. This tin-glazed earthenware was made in the Netherlands and other areas of Continental Europe, but the majority of the delft owned in colonial America was manufactured in England. Our lovely Delft Garden collection plays on this look, creating the perfect blend of “Trend Meets Tradition.”
