Accent the bedroom with a trendsetting design rich in history. The Dusk Clementina Toile bedding collection features a lively floral pattern based on an 18th-century textile in Colonial Williamsburg's archives. In elegant dark blue against a white background, the chic two-tone design will add an instant update to any décor, whether formal or informal. Clementina Toile luxury oversized quilt is prewashed, filled with 100% cotton, and reversible. The collection is named for one of colonial America's pioneering businesswoman, Clementina Rind of Williamsburg, Virginia.

Clementina Rind, Of Williamsburg, Virginia, was a pioneering American businesswoman. When her husband died, she took over his printing business and published The Virginia Gazette a week after his death, not missing a single issue. In 1774 she was the first to print Thomas Jefferson's A Summary View of the Rights of British America, a precursor to his Declaration of Independence.

Toiles (or copperplate-printed fabrics, as the English called them) were printed in the same way as engravings. We honor one of America's first female printers with "Clementina Toile," a reproduction of a copper-plate printed textile made about the time she was in business.

Elegant Colonial Reproduction Fabric

This is a lovely choice for a Colonial Period house. Tasteful and a nice color for those who enjoy blue - goes with many hues - understatedly elegant.
