In this story, kids will get a dogs' eye view of the American Revolution in Williamsburg. Follow Liberty, a sheepdog puppy (briard), from the time she is purchased in 1774 for George Washington until she alerts colonists in Williamsburg that the British are stealing their gunpowder. Her brother, Bruno lives in the Governor's Palace and is on the side of the British. As Liberty struggles with her loyalties, adventures put her in the middle of events surrounding the nation's beginnings.

Huzzah for Liberty!,  No. M71521

This playful Briard named Liberty was chosen because of the breed's associations with Thomas Jefferson and George Washington in colonial America.
