Make a statement of elegant simplicity with this sterling silver oval plain pendant. This humble piece was inspired by buttons used during the 18th century. In a time before all the fancy fasteners we have today, buttons were both a functional necessity to keep clothes in place and a beautiful accent to a wardrobe. This pendant was made by Colonial Williamsburg's retired master silversmith Jimmie Curtis based on button shapes found during Williamsburg's excavation. Choose from large or small size. Large: 1½"L, Small: 1"L
