Inspiration
Forged iron was a common sight in 18th-century Williamsburg. Iron objects can be seen throughout the historic area today, mainly in tools, hardware, and weapons made at the Anderson Blacksmith Shop and Public Armoury. You can also see original examples at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.
