Inspiration
A silver woven basket dating to the 1730s made by Paul de Lamerie of London held in the Colonial Williamsburg archives served as the inspiration for the WILLIAMSBURG Lamerie Lattice pattern floorcloth. Floorcloths were popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Originally made from painted canvas, floorcloths protected wood floors while adding color and interest to a room.
