This deck is at it's best before you unwrap it.
This deck is not an exact replica of the original deck, or even earlier reproductions. They are not printed on regular card stock but on something like thick watercolor paper. Also, they are printed entirely in black ink which means the hearts and diamonds are black instead of read. The fables are not easy to read. It's difficult to figure out the archaic language when the printing is so poor. Last is not a problem with the deck itself but the shipping cost was absolutely ridiculous.
