At Christmastime in the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg the houses and shops are trimmed with a delightful variety of decorations made from fresh evergreens and fruit. The Colonial Williamsburg Fife and Drum Corps perform their lively music through the streets of town and a candle burns in every window. On Christmas Eve the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree is celebrated in Market Square with caroling and storytelling.
