Baking Instructions
- Combine yeast packet, dough mix, butter and water in bowl until dough comes together.
- Knead dough 4-5 times and make into ball.
- Place in buttered bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place for 45-50 minutes.
- Empty caramel packet into small bowl and set aside.
- On lightly floured surface, punch down dough and divide into two. Roll each into 12-inch snakes.
- Cut each snake into 1-inch pieces and roll into balls.
- Toss in dry caramel mix and place in generously buttered and floured 8-inch bread pan.
- Cover with towel and let rise in warm place for 45-50 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- While dough is rising, combine remaining caramel mix, butter and milk in medium microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well and microwave an additional 30 seconds. Stir again and let cool 15 minutes. Stir and drizzle over dough balls.
- Bake on center oven rack for 30-32 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before turning out onto plate.
Do not eat or taste dough or raw batter.
