Inspiration
For colonists chafing under imperial rule, the Stamp Act was the last straw. The original teapot that inspired ours was produced for the American market by British manufacturers to commemorate the repeal of the act in March of 1766. Take a deep dive into the history of the Stamp Act on the Colonial Williamsburg website.
