This charming Colonial Williamsburg exclusive Vaillancourt Chalkware collectible combines the holiday decorating traditions of the Williamsburg Inn with Vaillancourt's chalkware folk art made from 19th-century chocolate molds. This jolly fellow is carrying a sack filled with pomegranates, a signature holiday fruit decoration at the Inn, and a gold tree. The laurel wreath decoration painted on his coat is similar to the Regency-style décor of the Inn's interior.

Product Care
Dust using a soft dry cloth. Store in cool dry place. Avoid direct contact with moisture or water.
Inspiration
Each piece begins in an antique chocolate mold from the Vaillancourt collection but is then re-sculpted with a Colonial Williamsburg holiday motif. A new mold, made from the re-sculpted piece, is filled with a plaster-like substance and dried. The resulting "chalkware" is then hand-painted, bringing to life the mold maker's intricate artistry and the festivity of Colonial Williamsburg's holiday season.
