Faithfully reproduced in minute detail, this Vung Tao Mini Covered Vase is an exact reproduction of a porcelain vase recovered from the cargo of the Vung Tau sailing ship, which sank off the coast of Vietnam in 1690. The recovered cargo consisted of over 48,000 ceramics, mostly Kangxi blue-and-white porcelain from the kilns of Jingdezhen, and an impressive collection of white-ware. There were also many pieces of provincial ware. This beautiful porcelain vase measures 6.5" tall and is sure to make an incredible talking piece in your home.
