The design is copied from a woman's waistcoat in The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation collections, embroidered in England about 1720. The intricate silk needlework covering the original garment is handsomely translated into this quilted coverlet. A wonderful neutral, this ivory coverlet can be matched with other bedding collections or a favorite family heirloom quilt.
