Inspiration
Build in 1937 by John D. Rockefeller Jr., The Williamsburg Inn’s whitewashed brick exterior, pediments, arches, and columns highlight its neoclassical design, with interiors offering the ambiance of a comfortable Southern country estate. In 2001, the Inn completed a full renovation resulting in substantially enlarged guest rooms with elaborate marble baths and meticulously detailed refurbishment of its lobby, dining room, and meeting spaces.

Very lovely. We bought another style brass ornament while shopping at Brick & Vine. Later decided that the smaller size would make a perfect shade pull. It does!
We are happy to see that after several years the quality and style of the products in CW has returned to those of the past years. Hope it continues. We are so happy that we bought the items we did starting in 1988 because they are no longer available and what is, is not affordable.
