Inspiration
A woven coverlet dating to 1810-1840 in The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is the inspiration behind the Woven pattern of our vintage vinyl floorcloth by Spicher and Company. The original coverlet (Object # 1974.609.13) can be seen in our digital collections. The colorways in the Woven collection are named after the counties in Virginia and include the year they were established. Prince Edward County in Virginia was established in 1754.
