Women's Wheat Straw Hat Blank

Lightweight but I'm using it for gardening so I want it to be lightweight so it will be cool. It flies off my head easily so I tie it on with a wide grosgrain ribbon across the top and down the sides and brim. This pulls the brim down but is still loose enough to be cool.

Sadly mistaken about this hat! There's no crown that is made in it, so you can't fit it on your head! It should only be used at Colonial sites. Ladies must tie it on somehow. Sending it back today. Very disappointed. VCS

Sewed my own ribbons on and got a compliment on it! Does blow away in the wind. Catches on long hair a bit. Does not plaster hair down or cause head sweat. Very breathable. Basic straw hat, which is exactly what I wanted. Am storing it on top of the cabinets well away from the cat, as she is way to interested for my peace of mind. Nice wide brim to keep the sun off. Good Hat.

Just what I wanted to keep the sun out of my eyes this summer! Nicer than any modern straw hat in the stores.

Well constructed and should hold up to my hot glue gun (adding ribbon) without a problem. The inside is a tad too big for my head, but that is easily fixed. Overall would recommend!
