Inspiration

A scroll design in the background of a map in the CW collections inspired the Baroque Filigree jewelry collection. Influenced by the 1594 version drawn by Petrus Plancius, this 17th-century version credited to a Dutch engraver named Jan Van Doetecum, depicts the world in two hemispheres, and contained new information on South America with an insert showing the Solomon Islands.
