Ingredients

Our all natural soaps do not include animal products are made with a vegetable soap base with added shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, grapeseed oil and fragrance. 

Inspiration

Eighteenth-century housewives occasionally made their own soap by boiling lime-ash and fat products over an outdoor fire. However, those who could afford them preferred the finer imported soaps available from local merchants. Imported soaps were generally scented and colored.

Soap could be purchased by the ball or the bar. Bars were formed by cooling the hot soap mixture in a large rectangular mold and then cutting the block into individual bars. Round wash balls were shaped by hand.
