Inspiration
In his 1633 book The Great Herball, John Gerard described the distilled water of lavender as "virtuous," whether it be "smelt unto or the temples and forehead bathed therewith." Gardeners of the 17th and 18th centuries relied heavily on herbalists such as Gerard, who also noted lavender's usefulness in perfuming linen, apparel, gloves, and leather. Lavender Lemongrass Shampoo
My husband and I visited Colonial Williamsburg for the first time in 2015. I was so impressed with the Lavender Lemongrass Shampoo that after we returned home I phoned to see if I could order the shampoo. For the past ten years this has been my preferred shampoo. It is concentrated and has a soft, (not overwhelming), fragrance. It is the best shampoo for my hair!
