Product Care
You may notice a white film on the surface of your beeswax candles called "bloom". Bloom is not a defect but a process that occurs naturally on the surface of 100% beeswax candles. To remove the bloom, rub the surface gently with a soft cloth. Or, allow the bloom to continue for a snowflake like texture on the surface of your candles.
Inspiration
In colonial times, candles were a necessity for every household. The most commonly used tallow candles burned quickly, gave out a dim light, and had a grim odor. Not only did beeswax candles smell sweet, they also burned cleaner and longer than tallow candles, and gave out a brighter light. Unfortunately, they were a luxury only the very wealthy could afford, because beeswax was expensive.

The BEST Candles
You cannot find a better candle than the natural beeswax candles. The natural color is lovely. I also purchased them in red for Christmas. I love that shopping from The Williamsburg Marketplace seems to be having more sales and providing free shipping after spending a certain amount. The best
I've been buying your natural beeswax candles for decades, as far back as when they were sold in a box of 12. I put them in my CWF pewter candlestick holders (a gift in the early 90s), which enhances their beauty. These candles are long/slow burning, have virtually no scent (mild honey aroma), and drip much less than lesser candles. These candles are all I burn, ever. I wish the green bayberry tapers would come back in stock, and I also wish CFW would sell 1/2" wide tapersticks that I could use for Advent. Highly recommended.
