Product Description
The same great nonalcoholic root beer served in Colonial Williamsburg taverns and restaurants, Chowning's Tavern Root Beer, evolved from a colonial recipe from over 200 years ago. The process of making root beer consisted of boiling roots of sassafras, dandelion, or licorice to extract their pungent flavors, then sweetening and storing them in wooden casks. Our unique root beer has a wonderful, distinctive flavor you will only find at Colonial Williamsburg. Makes a great nonalcoholic addition to your celebrations at home.
