This Colonial Williamsburg Scented Garden Soaps Gift Set features charming packaging matched only by the delightful scent of the six different all-natural soaps they encase - Garden Violet, Fresh Lemon, Hydrangea, Spring Garden, Dogwood Blossom, and Magnolia.
These fine, all-natural soaps are inspired by the spring sights and scents of Colonial Williamsburg's Historic Area. Triple-milled and enriched (as they were in the 18th century) with virgin olive oil, the soaps are stamped with the official Williamsburg logo.

Made with a vegetable soap base with added shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, grapeseed oil and fragrance. No animal products are used in this soap.
Soaps were occasionally made at home in the eighteenth-century by boiling lime-ash and fat products over an outdoor fire. However, those who could afford them preferred the finer imported soaps available from local merchants. Imported soaps were generally scented and colored.
Soap could be purchased by the ball or the bar. Bars were formed by cooling the hot soap mixture in a large rectangular mold and then cutting the block into individual bars. Round wash balls were shaped by hand.

These are wonderful! I have been buying them for years for my own use. They are gentle to my skin and so fragrant. Best of all, they are made in the USA.
The scents are wonderful and long lasting. These come in a cute gift box. I subtracted 1 star because these are SMALL bars. Still totally worth it!
