Product Description
Bring home a piece of American history. An ideal gift for history buffs and proud patriots alike, this polished pewter Washington camp cup is a true reproduction of the original design created by George Washington in 1776. Pewter, both imported and American-made, was the most popular tableware through the 1700s. Washington commissioned 24 cups of this design from Philadelphia silversmith William Hollingshead to use throughout his military campaigns. Washington's cups were engraved with a family crest; you can personalize your own by engraving a monogram, corporate logo, initials or date. Crafted of lead-free, non-tarnishing pewter, the Washington camp cup is durable as well as classic.
