Blended exclusively for Colonial Williamsburg, this 16 oz jar candle is made of clean-burning, blended paraffin wax. Two lead-free wicks provide an even burn, lighting up your home with 80-100 hours of burn time.

Product Care
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4"; stop burning when 1/2" unmelted wax remains. Keep out of drafts.
Inspiration
Bayberry candles were among the most prized candles in 18th-century America due to their clear, consistent light and pleasant scent. One of the first written accounts of bayberry candles dates back to 1698, which described them as "stinking," rather than "perfume-like incense." A Virginian historian reported in 1705 that the process of making bayberry candles was a very "modern discovery."

Jarred Bayberry candle is “almost” what I’ve been looking for…
I have been looking for Bayberry candles for a long time. There are a lot of “greenery” scented candles, but none were truly bayberry scented. On the CWF website, I first found the true bayberry candles. Thankfully, the description warned that these candles had very little bayberry scent to them. Then I found the jarred candles. I ordered 3 of the bayberry candles. Once I received them, I found that they were bayberry scented plus other Christmas scents. While the scent is very nice, it is not the bayberry for which I had been looking.

Have to change previous review. It does say online that there are other fragrances in this candle. Still disappointing its not 100% bayberry.

Smells good but is not 100% bayberry. In the fine print on the label of the candle it says "blend of bayberry and pine wirh hints of cinnamon, orange and eucalyptus. " When I shopped online these other ingredients weren't mentioned. Sort of disappointing if you are looking for a candle that is 100% bayberry.
