The kit contains contains everything you need to complete the piece, including:

The finished cross-stitch measures 3"W x 4 1/2"H. Designed and Made in USA.

Inspiration
During the 18th century, samplers were stitched by young girls to practice and to display their embroidery skills. Many of these sampler patterns and designs were handed down from one generation to the next by family members, neighbors, and teachers in the community. Today, samplers are being revived as part of a broader interest in needlework. You can see a large collection of samplers in The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg.
