Our necklace features a single string of white 6 mm rondell freshwater pearls with a beautiful 9 mm oval drop pearl as the centerpiece. The findings are made of sterling silver with a floral accent in gold vermeil at the top of the pearl drop's finding. These special details make this traditional pearl necklace unique and an excellent gift for someone special. Pair with the matching pearl earrings to complete the look.

Inspiration
Precious and semiprecious stones were as highly prized in the colonial period as they are today, as were gold and silver. Pearls were particularly popular in America, and were worn in short lengths in single, double, and sometimes triple strands. Single large pearls were also worn from a silk ribbon.
