Late summer blooms continue into the fall, adding to the palette of autumn. Kitchen gardens boast harvests of squash, pumpkins, and other seasonal vegetables.
Our faux floral collections represent plants either grown in the gardens of Colonial Williamsburg or depicted in artwork or in rare books documenting their existence in colonial America. The 18th century was a period of great interest in the natural world, and floral and faunal subjects were of interest to both scientists and artists.
