The WILLIAMSBURG Abby Blue Matelassé Bedding Collection features an intricate quilting pattern of leaves and rosettes within an interwoven "strapwork" design. The design is from a woman's waistcoat in The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation collections, embroidered in England about 1720. The intricate silk needlework covering the original garment is handsomely translated into quilted coverlets, bedspreads, and shams. Each piece sold separately.
