Our traditional quilted bedding is made from 100% cotton for easy care and includes bedspreads, coverlets, and shams in full, queen, and king sizes. Each piece sold separately.

Inspiration
An exquisitely hand-embroidered English table cover dating to about 1650 inspired the quilting pattern on this WILLIAMSBURG bedding collection. The table cover was worked in indigo crewel yarns and was used to protect a table displaying family silver, which inspired Richmond Matelassé's floral scroll border. The complementary field is in a Gothic fret motif popular on furniture a century later. These handsome patterns from Colonial Williamsburg's design archives combine in a "Trend Meets Tradition" look.

Matelasse
Matelasse weight is very light, not nearly as high in quality as my Bates made bedding which is American made not from Portugal. Williamsburg in general should strive for American made quality.
