This limited edition Colonial Williamsburg Fifer Steinbach Nutcracker figurine is designed and hand-made in Marienberg in the heart of the Ore Mountains of Germany by the Steinbach Folk Art company. Each nutcracker figurine is created using centuries-old wood carving methods and iconic decorations that are traditional to Ore Mountain folk art styles dating back to the 13th century. After WWII, soldiers returning home from Germany brought nutcrackers as a souvenir to family and friends, starting a new holiday tradition in the United States. This Steinbach nutcracker is made exclusively for Colonial Williamsburg retail stores and makes a great gift and keepsake!
