Care and Use
- Wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not immerse in water or place in dishwasher.
- Do not use with mugs or cups that are too hot or too cold.
- Surfaces are heat resistant up to 230 degrees F
- Extra care should be taken with French polished tables which are particularly sensitive to heat.
Inspiration
Magnolia trees were flourishing in Virginia and the eastern United States before the first colonists arrived. Explorers were astonished by their first glimpse of this enormous, unusual tree with its fragrant and giant blossoms. Magnolias continue to make a grand presence throughout Colonial Williamsburg’s Historic Area. The west elevation of the Lightfoot House is ornamented by a beautifully espaliered southern magnolia – the finest example of this unique pruning technique in Williamsburg.
