Product Description
These quilt labels feature prints of original artwork by Anne Bell Robb, one each of the Governor's Palace and Capitol Building. Each label includes a space where you can personalize the message for your quilted creations. Use a permanent ink pen or embroider your message. Kit contains two unfinished panels measuring 7" x 6". The finished label size is 6" x 5". Designed by The Posy Collection for Colonial Williamsburg and made in the USA.
How to Personalize Your Quilt Label
With a permanent waterproof pen (such as a Pigma Micron Fine Line pen), write your information on the label. Test pen first on fabric edge to ensure the ink does not run. You can embroider over the ink if you wish.
How to Attach Your Quilt Label
A 1-inch allowance is included on each quilt label. Fold under the edges and iron. A little bit of light starch will help make a neat edge. Using an applique stitch, sew the label onto the back of your quilt. Embroider over the appliqued border using a decorative stitch for added decoration, such as a herringbone or chain stitch.
