Becoming Jefferson
This book was better than expected. I’d been curious about it for a while, but worried since it was a CW publication it would be just another glorified picture book in pretty binding meant for tourists. I was pleasantly surprised. The book is a great mix between Historical information about Thomas Jefferson and the personal/professional experiences of the author. It’s also well written and organized. I had a fun time reading this book.

Becoming Jefferson
I loved the book. I had the privilege of attending Mr. Barker’s performance only one time many years ago at Colonial Williamsburg. It was an unforgettable experience so I was very happy to see this book. I enjoyed the behind-the-scenes look at bringing Jefferson to life, which Mr. Barker did so brilliantly and realistically. On a side note, I was thrilled to learn that Mr. Barker had moved on to Monticello. After all his years of being Jefferson, it was good and right and appropriate in every way that he would transition there and I’m glad it happened. The real Thomas Jefferson would approve!
